Atatürk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Doğum Kliniğinde normal olarak doğmuş, sağlıklı 150 bebeğin kordon kanından total lipid, total kolesterol ve fosfolipid tayinleri yapıldı. Elde edilen orta-lama değerler şöyle idi: Total lipid : 378.39 ± 88.02 % mg Total kolesterol: 106.48 ± 23.05 % mg Fosfolipid : 139.67 ± 39.82 % mg
