Bu çalışmada, kronik böbrek yetmezliği olan hastaların kan serumlarındaki trigliserid seviyesi araştırılmıştır. Bu hastalarda görülen hipertrigliseridemi, Lipoprotein lipaz aktivitesinde yetmezlik ve karbonhidrat metobolizmasında bozukluk ile ilişkilidir.
