Bu çalışmada 20 olguya %0.250'lik bupivacain, 20 olguya %0.125'l1k bupivacain ve 50 mikrogram fentanyl kombinasyonu verilerek travayda lumhal epidural analjezi. uygulandı. Analjezi tatbik edil-meden doğum yapan 20 olgu ise kontrol grubunu oluşturdu. Lumbal epidural analjezinin travay 1. ve 2. dönem sürelerine ve doğum şekline etkileri araş-tırıldı. Düşük dozlarda verilen % bupivacain ve 50 mikrogram fentanyl kombinasyonu ile do-ğumun daha iyi şartlarda gerçekleştiği ve klinikte rutin olarak uygulanmasının uygun olduğu kanaatine varıldı.
