Nörofilament proteinler nöronal sistoskeleton için özelleşmiş intermediyet filamentlerin bir sınıfıdır. Vertebralılarda sodyum dode sulfat (SDS) poliakrilamid jeldeki meloküler ağırlıkları yaklaşık 70-150-200 kilo dalton olan üç alt birimin hcteropolimer bileşiğidir (1,2,3,4).
