Obezite tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de hızla artmaktadır. Diyet ve ilaç tedavilerinin etkilerinin tatmin edici olmaması obezite tedavisinde cerrahiyi altın standart haline getirmiştir. Obezite cerrahisi uygulayan klinik sayısı giderek artmaktadır. Bu derlemede obezite cerrahisi öncesi, ameliyat sırasında ve ameliyat sonrasında hemşirelik bakımı ile ilgili konular tartışılmıştır.
