Pektus ekskavatum göğüs duvarının en yaygın deformitesi olup tedavi daha çok kozmetik nedenlerle yapılmaktadır. Etyopatogenezi kesinlik kazanmamakla beraber, cerrahi tedavi endikasyonu var ise girişim okul öncesi dönemde yapılmalıdır. Kliniğimizde pektus ekskavatumtlu 16 hastaya uygulanan cerrahi tedavi münasebeti ile, Ravitch tekniğinin üstünlüğü ortaya konmuştur.
