Amaç: Piyopnömotoraks gelişen romatoid artritli bir olgunun sunumunu yapmak. Olgu Sunumu: Altı yıldır romatoid artrit hastalığı olan 57 yaşında erkek hasta acil servise 10 gündür devam eden öksürük, ateş, nefes darlığı şikayeti ile başvurdu. Hastanın çekilen radyografisinde sağda hidropnömotoraks olduğu tespit edildi. Hastaya torasentez yapıldı ve kapalı su altı drenajı uygulandı. Uygulanan tedavi ile akciğerler ekspanse olmayınca torakotomi kararı verildi. Operasyonda kalınlaşan pleura çıkarıldı. Sonuç: Patolojik tetkikte romatoid nodüller görüldü.
