Preoperatif dönemde ultrasonografi (US) ve bilgisayarlı tomografi (BT) incelemesi yapılan 19 hastanın 19 (%100) unda US ile, 14(%73,6) önde BT ile safra kesesi taşı tespit edildi. Bunlardan tıkanma ikteri olan 4 hastada BT ile safra kesesi taşı tespit edildi. Bunlarda tıkanma ikteri olan 4 hastanın BT ile 3'iinde, US ile 1 inde koledok taşı gösterildi. Safra kesesi taşlarının tanısında US, BT ye göre daha duyarlı sonuç verdi. Koledok taşları tanısında ise BT, US den daha duyarlı sonuç verdi.
