Bu araştırmada tinnitusa sebep olan patolojileri ortaya koymayı amaçladık. Çalışmamız göstermiştir ki ilim çabalara rağmen tinnituslu hastaların önemli bir kısmında her-hangi bir patoloji saptanamamıştır. Öte yandan vakalarımızın %44'ünde akustik travma, tuba disfonksiyonu, ilaç ototoksitesi ve kafa travması tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca 7 vakada pulsatil tinnitus bulunmuştur.
