Total larenjektomililerde meydana gelen nazal mukoza değişiklikleri, 35 total larenjektomili ve 15 normal kişiden alınan nazal mukoza biopsilerinin histopatolojik incelenmesi yöntemiyle araştırılmıştır. Bu araştırmayla total larenjektomililerde, ameliyattan sonra karşolaştığı birçok problem arasında, nispeten geri planda kalan nazal mukoza değişiklikleri ortaya konularak, konuya katkıda bulunulması amaçlanmıştır.
