Küntscher çivisi ve plak ile tedavi edilen 67 yetişkin hastadaki 68 femur cisim kırıgının sonuçları gözden geçirildi. Küntscher çivisi 40 hastada, plak 27 hastada uygulandı . Hastaların 56'sı erkek, bayan idi. Ortalama yaş 33.6 yaş (en az 18 en fazla 85 yaş) olarak bulundu. Bütün kinklarda kaynama görüldü. Beş hastada ameliyat sonrası enfeksiyon gelişti.
